Worn shot blast spindles (left hand photos) are routinely inspected and rebuilt, with special attention given to bearing replacement, shaft inspection/replacement, and housing inspection, prior to being painted and re-assembled (right hand photos). Steel mill billet production saw spindles (lower right photo) are are also inspected and rebuilt to the same high standards, including hydraulic motor repair and rebuild. Static balancing is set to a specific rpm for smoother spindle operation and increased bearing life. |
